Israeli negotiators are currently in Egypt for talks with senior Egyptian officials in an attempt to reach an agreement with Hamas for the release of more hostages. Return from Doha and obstacles
The negotiators returned last Friday from Doha, the Qatari capital, where attempts to extend the ceasefire with Hamas ended without results. US proposal
Israel supports a proposal put forward by the US special envoy, Steve Witkoff.
