The Pentagon has identified the two American soldiers killed in Iran’s missile and drone attack on Jordan. They are Tyler James Feehan, 25, from Hawaii, and Isabella Gonzales, 19, from Texas. The Defense Department released their names without providing details on the circumstances of their deaths, noting only that Gonzales was killed on Friday and Feehan on Saturday.
A third US service member remains missing following the Iranian strikes against Jordan. US Central Command said human remains were recovered on Sunday and that identification efforts are underway.
Separately, another American soldier was killed on Saturday in northern Iraq during the controlled detonation of an unexploded ordnance from an Iranian attack drone that had been shot down, according to operational command. A second service member sustained minor injuries and is receiving medical care.
