What we perceive today behind the small screen is an unattainable Olympus that holds the truth. The line separating news from power and entertainment from fiction is becoming increasingly blurred. The existence of such an “Olympus” necessitates the presence of an “agora”—that is, the public sphere—a concept fully embodied by social media. And then there’s Altrove TV, still in its infancy but already with a clear vision of its future—and, with it, its destination.
Founded by manager and producer Luca Lechiancole through his Media Group, the web TV channel has been on the air for months, offering integrated communication services, marketing, and AI solutions; in the background, it also features TV series and cartoons. But what is now superimposed on the screen is a date: October 11, 2026. Starting on this day, Altrove TV will kick off a television season packed with programming. The cornerstone of the schedule is “Che Domenica,” a veritable streaming marathon featuring news, entertainment, interviews, music, and games. The show will air live every Sunday, starting the second Sunday in October and running through May.
From the Forum Theater in Rome, the opening credits will air at 1:30 p.m., and the show will run until 8:00 p.m. In short, what a Sunday! It is said that on the seventh day, the Lord rested from His work of creation; in contrast, Altrove TV will bring together years of work, inspiration, and insight, opening up a new horizon in your living rooms and keeping you company every Sunday.
The show has already unveiled its cast: Emanuele Puddu, a well-known television personality and the face of Altrove TV, will be at the helm as host. At his side will be Alfredo Arciero, handling the show’s journalistic content with news, interviews, and stories. Also in the frame is Giuseppe Carlucci, a performer and frontman who will accompany the live broadcast from his “parodos” to his “exodus”; he’ll be joined by choreographer Christian Riga and singer Federico Murgia. Amid dance and music, the studio will magically come to life. Capturing this spell—and, above all, bringing it to life—will be Samuele Maestri, director and producer, as well as the link between magic and reality. On the set of Altrove TV, there’s more than just cameras: the audience members present in the studio embody the continuum between what happens inside the Forum Theater and the outside world—connecting it to society at large. Furthermore, both viewers watching the livestream and those present in the studio will be able to participate in debates, discussions, quizzes, and games.
Although called “Altrove” (which, in English, means “elsewhere”), Luca Lechiancole’s TV is a sort of parabasis—the breaking down of all distance between information and reality, between expression and essence, between the multitude and the particular. If there’s a world of difference between saying and doing, Altrove TV connects through people and does so horizontally. The sensitivity of each individual—both the cast and the guests—will be the deus ex machina of a TV show you certainly wouldn’t expect. From the graphic design of the television studio—which already embodies the show’s futuristic aesthetic—the web TV channel tackles themes that look at us from the future but have deep roots within us. Central to the program will be the aspect of prevention in every field, inseparable from that of expectations—whether personal, social, or professional. From live segments connecting with various international locations to interviews with well-known figures, along with music and dance, “Che domenica” goes beyond the “beastly” Sunday of Fabio Concato’s famous song, producing a screen full of diverse, independent, and harmonious pixels—each with a distinct awareness, ready to make this upcoming new TV channel a shared new horizon, offering the audience both companionship and awareness.
