Hunter Biden Says His Father’s Prostate Cancer Has Spread

In a BBC interview, Hunter Biden said former President Joe Biden’s cancer has spread to his bones and described his father’s pain as “unbearable.”

Hunter Biden says his father’s prostate cancer has spread to his bones and beyond, describing the former U.S. president’s condition as extremely painful in an interview with the BBC.

“My father’s cancer has spread. It has reached his bones and beyond. It is very painful. And the pain is really unbearable,” Hunter Biden said while discussing his father’s illness.

He also spoke about the role Joe Biden continues to play within the family, describing him as “the best father, the best husband and the best grandfather.”

“My father, even today, is the center of our family,” Hunter Biden said. “The only thing I can say about my father and his health right now is that I wish he would complain more.”

During the interview, Hunter Biden also discussed the presidential pardon he received from his father in 2024, saying he considers himself “the most privileged person that exists” because of it.

Hunter Biden acknowledged that the decision was not a good choice for the United States or for his father’s political legacy. At the same time, he questioned what people would have thought of Joe Biden had he not intervened on his son’s behalf.

“It is something that can easily be criticized, and rightly so. It’s not fair,” Hunter Biden said. “All I know is that I’m grateful he did it for me.”

He told the BBC that he believes his father ultimately acted out of concern that Hunter Biden could become a target during the incoming administration of Donald Trump.

The pardon covered Hunter Biden’s federal conviction for illegal firearm possession, the federal tax case in which he had pleaded guilty, and any federal offenses he may have committed between 2014 and 2024.
