Gaza, Hamas: ‘Over 18,000 children killed since the start of the war’

According to the Gaza Strip government, there have been more than 62,000 Palestinian casualties since 7 October 2023

The toll released by Hamas – The Hamas-controlled government of Gaza has stated that at least 18,885 children have been killed by the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) since the start of the war on 7 October 2023. The total number of Palestinian victims is said to have exceeded 62,000, according to data reported by Al Jazeera.

A relentless conflict – The figures released by Hamas cannot be independently verified, but they highlight the enormous human cost of the conflict, which has been ravaging the Gaza Strip for over a year, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis.
