Elon Musk’s team’s access to Social Security Administration data blocked
A federal judge in Maryland temporarily suspends access to personal data, dealing a new blow to the Trump administration
A new judicial slap in the face to the Trump administration has come from a federal judge in Maryland. Judge Ellen Hollander has temporarily blocked Elon Musk’s team’s access to the systems of the Social Security Administration (SSA), the agency responsible for social security in the United States. These systems contain personal data of millions of Americans.
The judge’s decision also requires Musk’s team to delete all personally identifiable data already in its possession, ensuring immediate protection of citizens’ privacy.
