WASHINGTON — The United States reportedly used a “super secret” weapon during a Delta Force raid in Venezuela, according to President Donald Trump. Speaking to the New York Post, Trump described the device, known as the Discombobulator, as critical in disabling enemy defenses and keeping U.S. troops safe.
“Everything the enemy tried to use — rockets, defenses — it didn’t work,” Trump said. “No American soldiers were hurt. It was amazing.” The raid targeted former Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores, who face federal charges in the U.S. related to drugs and weapons.
An anonymous Venezuelan security official described the operation as chaotic and overwhelming. According to the account, radar systems failed, drones appeared, and a small team of U.S. soldiers engaged a much larger force with precise, high-tech weaponry.
