Attack on Miguel Uribe Turbay: the killer was not alone; at least five accomplices involved VIDEO

An investigation reveals new details about the ambush on the Colombian senator: the 15-year-old arrested was part of a coordinated group with motorcycles, cars and phones

The attack on Colombian senator and presidential candidate Miguel Uribe Turbay, which took place last Saturday in Bogotá, was allegedly organised by a group of at least six people, including a 15-year-old boy who was arrested immediately after the attack. This was revealed by Noticias Caracol, which had exclusive access to security camera footage.

The images show a precise sequence of events: the minor arrives on a motorcycle as a passenger, gets off and walks along several streets until he reaches a grey car, with whose driver he talks for a few minutes. During his movements, he makes two phone calls, although, according to the authorities, he did not have a mobile phone on him at the time of his arrest.

According to the journalistic investigation, at least one other vehicle – a silver car – was used to facilitate the escape of some members of the commando. The attack, therefore, appears to have been the result of complex planning, involving multiple vehicles and accomplices, refuting the initial hypothesis of an isolated action by the minor alone.
