Netanyahu praises Trump for sanctions on International Criminal Court

Israeli prime minister calls the ICC a ‘corrupt’ and ‘anti-American’ court

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has publicly expressed his appreciation for US President Donald Trump, praising him for his decision to impose sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC) and its staff.

In a post on X, Netanyahu called Trump’s measure ‘courageous’, claiming that he will defend Israel and the US from a ‘corrupt, anti-American and anti-Semitic’ court that, according to him, has no jurisdiction to act against the two countries.

The Israeli PM then accused the ICC of conducting a ‘ruthless campaign’ against Israel as a test for future actions against the US, and praised Trump’s executive order as a measure that protects the sovereignty of both countries and their militaries.
